Destination Wedding Photography in Portugal – engagement in Sintra
by Aguiam Wedding Photographers Portugal
Lovers of nature and adventure, Lynne and Ben, born and raised in England, chose two magical spots in the Serra de Sintra for their engagement session. The Convento dos Capuchos, right in the heart of the Serra de Sintra and World Heritage Site by Unesco, was one of the places. The other, was the gorgeous Cabo da Roca, the most occidental point of the European continent. Both are overwhelmingly beautiful locations, that enhance both the romance and our senses, allowing us to let our own instinct guide us. It is a very familiar sensation of fulfillment when we are around people with strong mutual feelings. This engagement photography session in Portugal made us dream. “The Serra de Sintra is a granite block forming a mountain barrier, where the rains from the ocean are concentrated. This micro-climate is in stark contrast with that of the surrounding area and is the reason for the dense vegetation that covers the whole of the massif. The great wealth of the ecosystem and the mistily romantic veil that emanates from it have been celebrated time and again by poets and, in particular, by Gil Vicente, Camões (The Lusiads), Southey and Byron (Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage).” So you make sure to spare a day to visit this beautiful sight, it is really worth it. Also don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes and a jacket. Although it might be very hot weather in Lisbon here in Sintra it can be a little chilly. Be prepared to enter the ultimate twilight zone of the weather. It never seizes to amaze us, seriously. This is why it is so refreshing and mystical. Spend some time being connected to Nature and Mother Earth. Here is the exact right place to do so.
